West Indies Home Contractors Ltd. (WIHCON), is well advanced with it's plans for two exclusive new gated communities, 57 apartment units and 10 town houses in the Mona area of St. Andrew, Kingston. The town-house complex will be called Sunflower Manor, and the apartments will be called The Aqueduct. The three-bedroom town houses will be 2,310 square feet in size and are expected to be sold for J$25.65 million, the two-bedroom apartments will be sold for for J$13.95 million to J$16.65 million, and WIHCON requires an initial 15 per cent downpayment.
West Indies Home Contractors (WIHCON) the professional and entrepreneurial homebuying segment, and will be investing close to J$1 billion in the development. It's last project in the area, Mona Heights was executed five decades ago, and is also a desirable middle to upper middle-income neighbourhood. Since then, it has done 38,000 units across Jamaica, including Portmore and Old Harbour in St Catherine.
