New developer promises to cut house prices

A new development company,  Magwall Jamaica, says that by using a fairly new building technology, structural insulated panels (SIPs), it will be able to build homes at less than half the cost and in a fraction of the time it typically takes to build a house in Jamaica using traditional methods. Magwall Jamaica uses a patented building system which was developed in Canada to address residential and commercial construction needs in that country. The Magwall building system is tested and proven to be able to stand up to strong hurricanes and earthquakes, and is fire, termite and mold proof.

Magwall is a “green” product”, which is chemical free, hypo-allergenic and will not give off any dangerous gases or vapour, and is basically maintenance free. It is is used widely across North America and Central America. Read more at
